Effect of Trap Height Level on The Capture of Fruit Fly (Bactrocera spp.) on Crystal Guava Field

Abstract Fruit fly ( Bactrocera spp.) is one of the most important pest crystal guava. The use bottle as a trap with methyl eugenol block (ME block) an attractant commonly applied to control population fruit fly. objective this research was determine effective height level capture This experiment conducted at Great Giant Foods, Lampung. arranged in randomized design which consisted 6 treatments and 5 replications. were 50 cm, 75 100 125 150 175 cm above ground. Each laced 2 ml ME block. results showed that variations affected number captured guava field. best for catching flies on guavas have been produced more than year old tall plants cm. caught identified dorsalis B. carambolae .
